Day Trippin': A Quick Visit To The Roslyn Cafe in Roslyn, WA [PHOTO GALLERY]
It is that time of season again to take a quick day trip!
This time, I headed out to the cozy Roslyn Cafe, made famous by the mid-1990's television show, Northern Exposure.
If you haven't ever been to Roslyn Cafe, the town is very proud of its claim to fame, even adding a dedicated exhibit of memorabilia inside the Roslyn Museum!
The Roslyn Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, which are usually served all day. I arrived before the dinner rush, but the cafe was still pretty busy and the barbeque place next to the cafe was just starting to get a few customers ready to pull up a bar stool and enjoy their Friday night!
I cheated and checked out the menu ahead of time online, so when I sat down in the booth, I had already decided to order the "hippie burger" (it's actually called the "Earth Burger").
Earth Burger - $11.75
A hearty, earthy vegetarian/vegan
House made hippie burger
Mushrooms, roasted cauliflower, broccoli, garlic and black beans make up this delicious burger. Served with curry aioli and red onion marmalade
I enjoyed the tasty marmalade and I ordered a salad with my meal so that I could feel healthy for the day! Great meal! Thank you so much to the staff, who were all top notch and very friendly!
