On the day fire officials issued the first red flag warning of 2019 for central Washington, the music at the season's first Downtown Summer Nights posed a serious safety threat. Smoking-hot rock, blues and funk from the Rafael Tranquilino Band out of Seattle and crackin' hot country from the Olson Band of Olympia ignited North Front Street and delighted the Thursday night crowd.
