Dr. Kelli Ward is a big deal in Republican politics in Arizona.

She served three years in the state senate and has been the head of the Arizona State Republican Party since 2019.

Taking The MAGA Message On The Road To Yakima

She's a MAGA brand of politician who resigned from the state senate to run against John McCain in the 2016 primary and lost by a significant margin. Ward also ran and lost to Senate candidate Martha McSally for Jeff Flake's former seat. A couple of high profile losses like that might have taken the wind out of the sails of another candidate but the experience seemed to generate a new kind of wind that fans the flames of her passion, enthusiasm, and political activism and she is now on the road in support of promising Republican candidates around the country.

Primary Opponents Lining Up Against Newhouse

One such event is set for this Saturday in Yakima.  It's billed as "Putting America First! Introducing Corey Gibson for U.S. Congress  --  featuring Arizona's Dr. Kelli Ward.

Candidate Gibson is running for Congress against incumbent Dan Newhouse.  Gibson appeared as a guest on KIT's Morning News radio show a short while back and his website and campaign information can be found HERE

The evening will feature wine and hors d'oeuvres and multiple guest speakers including local Republican Party officials as they discuss the upcoming, 2022 election and beyond.

Firebrand Writes What's Right

In addition to her endorsement of Corey Gibson for U.S. Congress, Dr. Ward will also discuss her new book, "Inspired by What’s Right: How a Gutsy Small-Town Doctor Roused Optimism by Shining Her Light on Politics"  The book features her ongoing work with former President Donald Trump as they fight for election integrity.

The high-energy Dr. Ward joined the Morning News team to talk about her upcoming visit to Yakima and that interview can be found at the bottom of this article.
