Earlier this year, on March 28, Fabolous turned himself in to authorities after being accused of assault by his longtime girlfriend, Emily Bustamante, also known as Emily B. Now, according to TMZ, the Brooklyn rapper has been indicted on four felony charges stemming from the incident in question, which was also caught on video.

As reported, a grand jury in New Jersey has indicted Fabolous on one count of domestic violence with significant bodily injury, two counts of threatening to kill and one count of possession of a weapon, with the latter being a sharp object.

Each individual charge is in the third-degree and can bring up to five years in prison. Should he be found guilty of all four charges, he could face a combined sentence of twenty years. It was previously reported that Fabolous was charged with aggravated assault and making a terroristic threat, both in the third degree, and as a result, was possibly facing ten years behind bars.

Although Fabolous has yet to issue a statement commenting on the alleged incident, Bustamante was spotted in attendance with the rapper as he appeared in Bergen County Superior Court on May 10. According to reports, Bustamante had asked courts to dismiss a separate domestic violence charge, as well as a restraining order.

According to court documents previously obtained by NorthJersey.com, Fabolous punched Bustamante in the face seven times, resulting in her having to have her two front teeth medically removed. The alleged altercation is believed to have taken place on March 7, weeks before Fab ended up turning himself in. Authorities believe Fabolous previously became enraged after finding out about a trip Emily took to Los Angeles and sent her threatening texts, which led to her allegedly ask her father and brother to remove two firearms from her and Fab's shared home, resulting in the aforementioned associated video footage.

Back in March, Fabolous’ attorney denied that his client had committed any crime, referring to the recorded incident as an argument. XXL has reached out to Fabolous' team for a comment.
