Five Guys Burgers and Fries will be making its Yakima debut very soon. I'm excited for it as I'm sure many are, but I think Yakima will be in for a shock when they see the prices are somewhere between casual dining and fast food. The question many will ask is "Is it worth the price?"

Quick answer: I think so, on occasion.

As great as the food is, you have to keep in mind that you shouldn't compare Five Guys to most fast-food restaurants. You get your food fast, but it separates itself from many other places on several levels.

First of all, there are no combo meals. If you want a burger, fries and a drink you're paying separately for each item.

Also, there is no kids menu. They do have items like a "little cheeseburger" on the menu, but even the little cheeseburger costs more than $5.

Finally, needless to say, there is no value menu. You won't find burgers for $1. I took my family to the Issaquah location this past weekend and, for a family of five, I paid around $50.

You will find super delicious food that keeps you satisfied, though, so every once in a while Five Guys Burgers and Fries is definitely worth checking out.
