
Gas Prices Climb 7.6 Cents in Yakima, Now $4.30 per Gallon
It's Monday and if you're filling you tank gas prices are up 7.6 cents per gallon this week, averaging $4.30 per gallon today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 91 stations in Yakima. GasBuddy says Prices in Yakima are 20.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 53.0 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
THAT'S EXPENSIVE GAS!
The average price in the state of Washington stands at $4.65 per gallon. If you purchase diesel the national average price of diesel has decreased 2.6 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.65 per gallon.

THAT'S SOME CHEAP GAS!
We know where to find the cheapest gas in Yakima. It's 3.80 per gallon at the Sinclair/Ahtanum Fuel Stop on Goodman Road. You'll find gas selling for 3.89 at the Union Gap Costco. The cheapest gas in the valley? 3.48 per gallon at Wheelers Kountry Korner in Wapato, priced on Sunday.
SOME GOOD NEWS FOR THE FUTURE
Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy says the west coast continues to face challenges that stand in the way of lower prices. He says Oregon and Washington are seeing some of the largest increases due to "regional infrastructure issues." He says the transition to cheaper winter gasoline starts Tuesday and that he expects average gas prices will continue to decline "in the weeks ahead in most states- assuming hurricane season remains quiet.”
