Naches Sportsman’s Days Returns September 11-12, 2026

The biggest celebration of the year in the little town where I grew up will be here shortly, and I have all the details below for Naches Sportsman's Days!

The 2nd Weekend In September

Traditionally, Naches Sportsman's Days takes place the 2nd weekend each September, but (depending on the year) it's usually a safe bet to plan for the weekend after Labor Day; either way, clear your calendars for September 11th and 12th.

The whole town will be celebrating, but a majority of events will take place at the Naches Depot Park, located at 27 Orchard St, in Naches, kicking off Friday evening at 5 pm.

2026 Naches Sportsman's Days Schedule of Events

NOTE: All event times as well as the order are subject to change.

Friday (9/11) events open at the Depot Park at 5 pm.

• 5 - 8 pm: Free Kids’ Games at Kid’s Korner
• 5:30 - 9:30 pm: Bingo in the Depot
• 6 pm - The first Button Drawing for prizes (done hourly).
• 7 pm - Rusty Cage on the Pepsi Stage
• 9:30 pm - $150 Button Drawing

Saturday (9/12)

• 8 am: Show & Shine at the Ditch Bank
  10 am: Kids Parade
• 10:10 am: Grand Parade and Apple Bin Races
• 10:30 am - 9:30 pm: Bingo in the Depot
• 11 am: Sportsman’s Days at Depot Park officially opens
• 11 am - 1 pm: Free Kids’ Games at Kid’s Korner
• 12 pm - 5 pm: Sunshine Lions Club Silent Auction
• 1 pm: Cornhole Tournament

• 1 pm: Kids’ Fishing Derby (ages 4 - 12)
• 1:30 - 2:30 pm: Jessica Beaman on the Pepsi Stage
• 2 - 4 pm: Free Kids’ Games at Kid’s Korner
• 3 - 4:30 pm: James Beam on the Pepsi Stage
• 5 - 7 pm: Annual Lip Sync Competition

• 8 - 1- pm Gin Mill Preacher on the Pepsi Stage
• 9:30 pm - $500 Button Drawing!

Growing Up In Naches

So many fond memories of growing up in Naches, as well as Naches Sportsman's Days. Playing Trombone & Tuba in the Marching Band. Helping my dad and uncle run sound on the main stage for the entire event.

Making it almost to the top of the greased-up telephone pole to get the money (okay, I was only 3 feet off the ground, but it still counted).

All the fun vendor booths, watching my brother's and Dad's bands perform on stage.

Performing in the annual lip sync competition (numerous years). Even a few years ago, the improv comedy troupe I was in celebrated one of our final performances on the stage.
