Authors & Vendors Shine at Yakima Valley Fall Author Fair (Photo Recap)
Once again, we sadly close the cover on another fun and engaging Author Fair and Vendor Market in the Yakima Valley. What did you pick up to read?
This enjoyable get-together gathered several authors and aspiring writers from all around the Pacific Northwest in one spot to let them meet and greet with the public, ‘talk shop’, show off and tell all about their latest works and adventures, share tips on writing, and, all around, just enjoy the community that the art of writing brings together.
This past Sunday’s (9/28) event took place in the parking between Encore Books (corner of South 5th Avenue and West Walnut Street) and KFC/A&W Restaurant in Yakima, and the weather (besides a little bit of smoke from the wildfires) was perfect.
This (to the best of my memory) was the 3rd Author Fair in this location, and so far so good, with plans for several more in 2026 (stay tuned for more details on that).
Below we have a photo recap of the wide range of authors and different craft vendors who were out and about, ready to share crafts, everything from jewelry making, glitter pens and tumblers, bookmarks, comics, baseball cards, and Funko Pop collecting, and of course, the big draws, all of the authors and their written words!
