Zillah community helps out local kid who lost all in fire

It can happen to anyone.

Anyone for any reason.

No matter how safe you think you are or how you may think everything is good -- gone.

Meet Tristen Jensen. Zillah Jr. Leopards Youth Football player who lost almost everything he owned due to a recent house fire.

No one should have to experience this. Especially a young man like this.

According to the GoFundMe, the fire spread so quickly he didn't even have time to get dressed before he had to leave.

This is truly heartbreaking.

With news of this story getting around, Heidi Robertson, a parent in the youth football league, set up this GoFundMe to help out Tristen during this time.

From the GoFundMe:

"This poor kid has already been through more than any kid should have to!" Heidi Roberston, a parent in the youth football league, wrote on GoFundMe. "I will be collecting funds and personally taking him shopping and making sure he has what he needs."

In just a few hours the community has already stepped up to raise $1,500 for the good of the cause.

Contributions are still coming in. Every little bit helps. $5 here, $20 there. It all adds up quickly.
