Would you love for your child to learn ballet but they have little to no experience

Or perhaps you already have a child enrolled in ballet classes but would like them to add something new to their performance repertoire?

Enter Nutcracker Bootcamp, stage right!

This ballet class series is being offered by Art in Motion, the foundation arm of the 11th Ave Ballet School in Yakima.

The ballet school is teaming up with the Broadway Grange to provide a venue for "joyful and rigorous" ballet classes for children ages 6 to 13 years old.

No experience is required for the class, so don't let that stop your child from learning how to perform some of the classic dances from the 1892 Russian classic two-act ballet, The Nutcracker.

Dances children will learn in this fun Nutcracker Bootcamp ballet class include:

  • Mice

  • Snowflakes

  • Party Children

  • Spanish

  • Slavic

  • Chinese, and more!

HOW MUCH DOES THE NUTCRACKER BOOTCAMP COST?

It is free for your child to attend the ballet classes. The first session begins on Monday, June 10th.

Youth ballet students from all over the country audition for The Nutcracker performance roles, including Seattle, so this Nutcracker Bootcamp class just might come in handy for your child!
