Pimp My Ride: Cardboard Edition
Not all hero's wear capes. Not all stars of Pimp My Ride are Xzibit. In Amsterdam, a fellow by the name of Max Siedentopf, goes around at night and gives random cars "upgrades". Armed only with cardboard and masking tape, he prowls the night looking for a new masterpiece. Some say it's art, some say it's vandalism, since it's not my car, I say it's funny.
According to Vice, Max does it because "Individuality, self-expression, and status are more important than ever these days. But for some reason you see that things as ordinary as cars are getting personalized less and less, while it could be a strange but great form of self-expression. I thought I'd do people a favor by giving them a custom-made supercar.”
For the record, this is highly illegal, but he has not seen any law type action, and he just hopes people enjoy the new custom mods. You can check out more of his "upgrades" here.
