Pink Friday: Shop Local, Love Local in Yakima
It's a new holiday tradition for downtown Yakima: have you heard of Pink Friday yet?
The reason why you should know about it? Because we want to "shop small first."
WHAT IS PINK FRIDAY?
Shopping local is something I think we all can get behind. It feels good to support our local small businesses and help them keep their doors open and full of customers.
You have a chance to show some love to five small businesses here in downtown Yakima this Friday with a new event called "Pink Friday." Sure, you could do some shopping on Black Friday, and now you can also shop the Friday before Black Friday, which is a national event to support small local businesses called Pink Friday.
The Pink Friday shopping holiday event is set to take place in Yakima on Friday, November 22nd.
