Get Ready for a New Season of the Yakima Valley Pippins Baseball Games

The Yakima Valley Pippins are about to break open a new season of hometown baseball beginning in June 2025.

I've been going to Pippins games for a long time since I moved to the Yakima Valley a couple of decades ago. I have precious memories from eleven years ago when I would take my then-three-year-old daughter to Pippins games. (She would never sit still for long, though!) I used to chase the team's mascot, Scott T. Pippin, around the bleachers so that she could take a pic with him or at least give him a high-five. It was so cute!

My most recent Pippins game memories include meeting up with some of my besties and our families and friends for "Pippings Bingo Night."  That was last year. We loaded up on snacks and beer from the concession stands and sat in the bleachers with the kids.

FUN FACT: Did you know that the Pippins are a locally owned team? And that years ago, none other than former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson played against the Yakima Valley Pippins when he was a middle infielder for the Tri-Cities Dust Devils back in the day?

The 2025 Yakima Valley Pippins Schedule

The Pippins have a busy summer coming up with baseball summer camps for the kids, unloading season passes for the games, and searching for host families for some of the team players. They're even looking for a few Bat Girls and Bat Boys for the season, if your kids are interested.

The first home game is on Tuesday, June 3rd.
