If you were able to make it out you were treated to fun activities like planting your own sunflower, coloring fans, life jackets for the little ones, loads of bubbles, music, ice pops, tacos and nail painting!

Getting a chance to chat with Dr. Carl he had some great tips for the community regarding the heat. Next week it's looking like we're going to be in the triple digits so it's super important to remember to be drinking water, wearing sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and try not to spend too much time in the direct sun. If you are going to go swimming in open bodies of water make sure the kids are protected and understand how important it is to wear their life jackets and reapply sunscreen every two hours will really help with sun damage. Also for the little babies you want to make sure they are getting lots of water too and their little diapers should be damp within a twelve hour period.

Prosser Clinic is currently seeing patients and also accepting new ones so don't hesitating reaching out and setting up an appointment. Your health is super important and taking making sure to keep up with your check-ups is a great way to maintain a healthy lifestyle!

Thanks again for coming out and see you again soon,

Love Sarah J
