If You Know Someone Who Needs To Register Their Kid For Kindergarten, Send Them This Link

Last week, we asked the public for any help in finding free immunizations for kids who are registering for kindergarten in the fall. The answer most given was to look out for the annual back-to-school parking lot fair (sponsored by the Yakima Valley Farm Worker's Clinic, who has a fair every year in their Yakima and Sunnyside parking lot locations).

In case you missed it, here is the Yakima School District list of required documents needed when you register your child for kindergarten:

Proof of Address

Birth Certificate (or Hospital Certificate)

Immunization Records

There are two more open house events to register kids for kindergarten:

March 8th, Roosevelt Elementary, 5:30pm-7:30pm

March 15th, Davis High School, 5:30pm-7:00pm

Or if you are not able to make the above dates, register your child anytime before March 11, 2016, at any of the Yakima School District elementary schools* (8am-4pm).

The first day of school for the 2016-2017 school year in the Yakima School District is August 31, 2016!
