Russell Simmons Praises Justin Bieber

OK, so the headline reads "Justin Bieber is More Popular than Any Politician: Russell Simmons." So I just had to read it. And Justin helped get the attention of the White House.

This was dealing with prison sentencing reform. Were cases that involved small time and non-violent drug offenders to be condemned. Justin, Russell, and  other celebrities and organizations wrote a letter to President Obama asking him to let judges look into cases that seemed unfair on drug-related charges.

Justin took to Twitter and got the process moving faster. Thus the headline in the New York Post.
