Selena Gomez is expanding her resume achievements by the day. After raising more than $200,000 as a UNICEF representative at her concert this past weekend, the Disney famer is gearing up to conquer a new feat: becoming a movie producer.

According to MTV News, Mrs. Bieber-to-be will act as a producer in the upcoming film make of ‘The Sky Is Everywhere,’ which is based on a Jandy Nelson novel. They assert that Selena will also star in the flick, which would be a walk in the park given her acting past.

If casted, she would portray Lennie Walker, who is the lead character in the book. Though Gomez is 19, she’d be pretending to be a 17-year-old nerdy girl whose big sister dies, leaving the door open for Selena… err, Lennie, to date her sister’s ex-boyfriend. He hasn’t been casted yet, but we’re sure he’ll be no Bieber.

2012 is lining up to be a big year for Selena, as she’s also reportedly working on a movie called ‘Hot Mess’ and one called ‘Spring Breakers.’ With a producer’s hat now in her wardrobe, we don’t know how she’ll have time to sing or go on dates with the Biebs — but we’re sure she’ll find a way.
