Yakima Transit has teamed up with Yakima Parks and Recreation to bring you FREE bus rides this summer. With every paid admission to Lions Pool, Franklin Pool, or YMCA Rotary Aquatic Center Pools (5th North Naches in Yakima or 38 River Road in Yakima) you will receive two bus passes! One for the trip home and one for your next pool adventure.
Get the sunscreen ready and check the couch cushions for change because your entrance fee is only $2 for those 18 years and younger $3.75 for adults and $2.25 for those with a valid state disabled parking placard.
Franklin Pool opens its doors for the first time this year on Thursday, June 14th. The pool will be open seven days a week from June 14th through August 25th.

For the 10th straight year, dog owners can take a dip with their pooch as part of "Paws in the Pool." Franklin Pool will close out the summer swim season on Aug. 28 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with the annual event.
