I received a message from Nicole Renee Smith, a volunteer for Operation Underground Railroad, an organization that exists to fight child sex slavery. This is near and dear to my heart. Ending human trafficking.

Normally I stay right in the middle with politics and religion but this one I will most certainly not. Ending human trafficking is something everyone should be on board with. The youth of the World are precious, they will do great things and their little minds and bodies need to be protected. So in honor of the good in this World please know, Thursday, July 30th is World Day Against Trafficking Persons Day and there will be two rallies taking place in the Yakima Valley.

Nicole will be hosting the location at the Selah Civic Center from 5:00-7:00 PM and the other one will be taking place at the corner of 40th and Powerhouse from 5:30-7:00 PM in Yakima.

We ask that everyone who attends bring water, masks and signs and wear blue, yellow or white T-shirts. We also ask that signs be designed to give voice to trafficked children, not to espouse political beliefs or conspiracy theories. Come join together and make a difference for our kids!

The babies, the youth, the teens, and the adults that are being taken advantage of do not deserve nor should have to deal with the disgusting acts and drive that keeps these dirtbags in business. Head on a swivel and phone in hand we rise up and yell at the top of our lungs no more. If you know anything about any type of weird *sh going on. Do not stay silent.

End Human Trafficking
