Top 4 Places in Yakima to Get Drinks To-Go for the Next 2 Years
Governor Inslee has spoken (and signed a bill) so hooray, Washington state, we can keep getting our drinks to-go and curbside for the next two years!
Sorry, this ain't Canada where you can drink alcohol at age 19, you must be aged 21+ to even THINK about buying your drinks to go here in Washington state.
Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, that is. (I always try to find the silver lining in tragedies.) KOMO News reported on the passing of the legislation, which is good for those that participate in such boozy adventures.
I began to wonder, where are the best places in Yakima to get drinks to-go?

I have come up with my top 4 recommendations where you can get drinks to-go:
Single Hill Brewing, 102 N Naches Ave
We have plenty of brewpubs in Yakima that will let you order and pick up your stuff curbside to-go and Single Hill Brewing is the first one that comes to my mind. I am itching to try their beer called, "Flirtin' With Mermaids". It's $17.00+tax to-go!
The Lab, 910 Summitview Ave
Not only do they have my new favorite meal, Hawaiian Chicken (served with peanuts, FYI), they also let you pick up your beer to-go. Choose between a hoppy beer or some wine to pair with your meal to-go. You'll be a happy camper in no time.
The Hawaiian Chicken is $14, the beer is $5, and the wine is $16 for a bottle.
MOD Pizza, Yakima: 2550 W Nob Hill Blvd Suite 100, and Union Gap: 1905 S 1st St UNIT 100
Every Friday night at my house is "Free for All Friday" which means that we order whatever fast-food or restaurant meal we have been craving all week. I might as well call it MOD Pizza & Wendy's Night instead because every week since I started our family tradition my daughter Willow always chooses to get MOD Pizza and I always choose to get Wendy's. Every now and then, I will gaze longingly at the wines MOD Pizza has for sale, and ever since the COVID pandemic began, they have been selling the wines (and draft beer bottles) to-go!
E.Z. Tiger, 222 E Chestnut Ave
My favorite thing to order from E.Z. Tiger is their Pad Thai and Pork Potstickers. You can't go wrong with a place that tells you, "All ready-to-drink beverages containing alcohol MUST be placed in the trunk." I am not sure which libations, as they call them, are considered ready-to-drink, but by the looks of their menu, I could take any one of them to-go!
Now that you've got my list, perhaps I'll catch you curbside. Let me know your favorite places to get your boozy to-go drinks. Ciao. Smooches!
