Tyler Cameron just opened up about his relationship with Gigi Hadid for the first time ever.

The two sparked dating rumors over the summer after they were spotted out in New York City multiple times. Though they have yet to confirm the status of their relationship, fans assumed they were the real deal after the 26-year-old Florida native attended the model's grandmother's funeral in the Netherlands earlier this month.

Now, in a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, the former Bachelorette contestant is finally spilling some details about his rumored summer romance, claiming he and Hadid are "just friends." Yeah, right...

"I mean... that's just where we're at. Our relationship doesn't need to be public," he explained. "She's good people, she's an amazing person and we're just keeping it friendly"

When he was asked if he's in love, Cameron played coy, saying, "I'm at the point where I don't really want to talk about my relationships. I've dated publicly, so, I'm trying to date privately and I'm not in love with anybody right now."

"[Hadid]'s an amazing person, we've had a great time together. We've hung out a few times, that's all," he added.

Elsewhere in his interview, he also explained why he decided to go on back-to-back dates with Hadid and Bachelorette lead Hannah Brown, adding that he could have handled things differently.

"[When the show was airing], I really didn't go out and date nobody," Cameron said. "I didn't put myself out there at all, out of respect for her, and out of respect for the show. And so I was like, 'I still want to go and put myself out there and see what's right and what's not right.' And that's all I really was trying to do."

"It's not always easy," he added. "I make mistakes and there's definitely things that I could handle better but I never meant to do anyone wrong. I was just trying to figure out what was best for me and where my heart was at."
