Wapato Post Office Closes Due To Accident

According to a Facebook group from the Town of Wapato and a Yakama Nation Tribal police officer who was on site, the post office in Wapato closed Saturday (Dec. 21), due to an accident. A car reportedly drove through a wall near the entrance, creating a small hole. The post office entrance has been blocked off with some large plastic sheets

Those receiving mail at a physical address in Wapato should not be affected. The post office should be back to normal business on Monday (Dec. 23).
