5 KID-FREE Places We Grownups in WA Can See New Movies in Peace
Universal Pictures just had a premiere screening of the new Wicked movie in Los Angeles and New York City, and I couldn't be more jealous and envious of the people who got a lucky invite to go!
The rest of us "my pretties" in Washington will have to wait like common folk until Friday, November 22nd, to see the film in theaters.
I'm pretty obsessed with seeing this movie. I bought the Wicked book years ago before it became a Broadway sensation starring Idina Menzel. I even bought some Betty Crocker Wicked Reveal cupcakes.
I've already seen this limited edition cupcake mix for sale on eBay, some going as high as $40!
Those of us who are smart enough will wait until the crowds die down before we go to see Wicked, but impatient types like me just can't wait a second longer than the opening day.
I'm going to go to an adults-only movie theater to watch Wicked on Saturday the 23rd, but first I plan on taking my 13-year-old daughter with me to go watch it on opening day (Friday). I'm making a fun Girls Night Out event out of it, so I invited a friend of mine who is taking her 11-year-old niece to come along!
If you want to go watch Wicked in peace without any screaming kids or noisy patrons, might I suggest you get tickets at a place where it's 21+? Here are 5 such places you can go in Washington.
If you're as obsessed with the Wicked movie as I am, it will be worth the drive!
