The festivities kicked off on Friday with carnival rides and food for the family wrapping up with AppleJame All-Stars and 10 pm fireworks for everyone to enjoy for FREE!

A giant shout-out to Paul Crawford of Yakima Federal Savings and Loan for creating this incredible event showcasing our local talent. For the past few years, AppleJam has been a well-attended competition but due to the unknown this year, it was the All-Stars of years past and boy was the energy and talent high!

It was a pleasure to get to host this year's event and meet so many people thru out the night. Even got the chance to make some dreams come true. I wish I could remember this sweet boy's name but in between acts I was offering up Yakima Federal Savings and Loan swag plus the opportunity to show off a joke, dance, or even sing! He mentioned he'd ALWAYS wanted to be on stage, so I figured, let's do this! Tears of joy and an amazing acapella version of Ruth B's Lost Boy had us all riding high!

Follow your dreams, breakthrough your stage fright, and go for it always :) Cannot wait for next year's talent because I am assuming that the competition will be back so you've got less than one year to figure out what YOU want to do!
