Central City Comic Con Hit The Streets (And The Park) With Fun Rock Painting Event

I was hanging out at Franklin Park for a kid's birthday party, when I noticed a big crowd under the awning at The Soda Fountain.

I am hella nosy, so I had to find out THE TEA and get all the gossip about what was going on.

Turns out, Central City Comic Con had teamed up with Yakima Valley Rocks for a free event where kids (and parents) could stop by and paint some rocks and meet some of the characters from this year's Comic Con.

I had shown up JUST when the painting had ended. Drats! But the Storm Troopers decided to crash the birthday party and took pics with all the kids! Yay!

The Soda Fountain is located behind the Yakima Valley Museum (2105 Tieton Dr.)
