“It’s Alive!” Count Chocula, Franken Berry and Boo Berry Come Alive with Blippar App

I'm a huge fan of breakfast cereal and look forward to my three favorite monsters every Halloween season. This year they're doing something very cool with the General Mills monster cereals -- the cereal boxes come alive with cool features by use of a free app.

The Blippar app scans for products and makes them animate when viewed through your mobile device. Sometimes it makes them turn into a cartoon or it may make a 3D image pop up that you can view from multiple angles in an augmented-reality sort of way.

I just had to test it out on the monster cereals.

In the video, you'll see all three and what the app looks like. The back of the box is great, too, as it'll let you cycle through the years of previous backs of monster cereal boxes, too. It'll even show videos of old commercials. How cool!
