Cultural Unity Fair at Wapato Middle School

This past Thursday (March 26), Wapato Middle School brought food and culture together once again.

Known as the Cultural Unity Fair (CUF), this event used to be held at the Capitol Theatre. But due to time and money it is no longer there. The last time it was at the Capitol Theatre was 1997.

Still, this event always draws a big crowd every year at Wapato Middle School, providing the different foods from all different cultures -- such as the famous Cheese Zombie, lumpia, pizza and frybread.

The students and staff put on a show as well. From the Native American dances, the Filipino candle dance, to Zumba. Check out a few pics and a video!
