Did Krampus Take Over the 107.3 KFFM Airwaves Last Night?

First, a heartfelt thank you to the listener that reached out via our 107.3 KFFM messenger and asked what was going on.

I was just settling in to watch Krampus with my husband, a film from 2015. It's the story of The Krampus, have you heard of it? According to Wikipedia

The Krampus is a horned, anthropomorphic figure in Central and Eastern Alpine folklore who, during the Christmas season, scares children who have misbehaved

The movie is great, scroll below to watch the trailer, but what was going on at the same time sent chills down my spine.

Right before the movie started I checked my phone and noticed a message from 107.3 KFFM, Maddison wrote,

Hi I was on the station tonight and there was this real weird sounds not sure what it was but I got a video of it and was curious what it was it was super scary sounded

She sent me a video so I watched it and was horrified. The sound was straight out of a horror movie like it made my blood run cold.

I switched on the stream and heard the same terrifying sound, so I tossed my phone to my husband to have a listen as I said I need to go to the station right now!

I flipped on the radio station and the same thing was coming over the airwaves. You could barely make out a beat and words but it was slowed down to a speed that would have creeped ANYONE out that listened and yes, there were a lot of you tuned in. It had been going on for long enough that I REALLY hope people didn't get caught up in that vibe.

My husband was kind enough to escort me to the studio, for real we were getting ourselves mentally prepared to break up a seance in the studio if need be. I was ready to kick anybody in the gut and tell em get outta here and my husband was the same, we were pumping ourselves up to go into battle. I had Christmas music on blast trying to shake that terrifying sound and was SUPER relieved to see no extra or unfamiliar cars parked in our station lot.

We walked inside and luckily my boss had received my message and was already working away to fix the issue. Thankfully it was just a corrupt file and not something more sinister.

This morning I rolled into the studio and made sure to sage for double protection AND also noticed the white candle that I light when visitors come into the studio was all melted like someone has poured some of it out. Um....D-Rez? Are you messing with my candles or what? I didn't do this but this isn't the first time I've gotten weird stuff going on with my candles.

Wow and whew! Hahahaha, talk about a wild night!
