Safe Yakima Valley
become a mentor with Safe Yakima Valley, just one hour a week commit to being, "that person" for a child in our community who doesn't have a stable person to speak with. It's a program that's gearing up and they are in need of female and male mentors. If this is something you're interested in or have a child that you would love to connect with a mentor REACH OUT.
Habitat for Humanity
You could become part of a team of builders, creating homes for those in need right here in the Yakima Valley. What a team-building exercise that would be and a memorable one too. Tell your family and friends maybe this becomes a yearly tradition.
This local group is all about empowerment and giving back to the community. Join the movement and make a difference.
Junior League of Yakima is committed to creating new opportunities for young women in Yakima though our Girls Initiative: Empowering Girls—Inspiring Leaders.
