Throughout the year, our station offers several contests and giveaways. These include "flyaways," a chance to go on an expenses paid trip for special events, brought to you by Legends Casino and Hotel!
What is a flyaway?
"Let us fly you away..." is a phrase we're all familiar with from game shows and radio contests. The term "flyaway" is a shorthand phrase to describe a contest or giveaway in which the winner is sent on a trip to a special event (such as a concert, meet and greet, or cruise) with a large part of the expenses being paid for by sponsors and event partners.
What are the prizes for a flyaway contest?
Typically, our flyaway contests include:
- Tickets for two to the event
- Round-trip airfare to and from the event from the winner's home location
- Hotel room booking and standard costs
- An extra stipend of spending cash
Each flyaway contest is different, and restrictions may apply, so make sure to carefully read the contest information and rules before entering.
How do I enter to win a flyaway?
First, make sure you check regularly for our most recent contests. When you see a giveaway that interests you, open the page and review the giveaway information for important details like dates and entry requirements.
Many of our flyaways will be sweepstakes, where you will be able to earn multiple entries by completing a form and additional tasks such as visiting social media pages of our sponsors. Others may require you to fill out a different entry form, submit a photo or audio via our app, or tune in at specific times for bonus codes.
At the end of the giveaway, winner(s) will be selected by the process indicated in the contest rules and contacted to claim their prize.
