Anybody Out There in the Yakima Valley Still Take Pics of Your Food?
Be honest. Is your phone camera roll just 90% photos of your lunch, like me? Seriously, if you go through your cell phone right now, how many of them are pics of food?
The way I see it, whether you're at home cooking in the kitchen or dining out in one of the hundreds of Yakima Valley restaurants, if the food looks so amazing, why shouldn't we feel free to take a pic of something that makes us feel so happy?!
An Peek Into Lovely Local Restaurant Meals with Flair
I went on a date once where the guy had a negative reaction to me taking a pic of my food.
"Oh, you're one of those people!" he griped and grimaced at me.
I vowed then and there henceforth to take a pic of my food on every first date with a new guy just to weed out the bad guys!
I recommend you create a photo album in your phone (if you can figure out how) that's just the pics you've taken of food at restaurants. You could develop a cool gallery of pics and make your own photo book at the Walgreens photo booth kiosk (just an idea)!
Here are the last few photographs I've taken around town when I went out to eat lunch (and brunch).
A Sexy Mocktail Beverage
Brunch Bliss & Bubbles, 910 Summitview Ave, Suite 7A
Don't drink alcohol? Try a delicious mocktail drink like I did here the other day at brunch with the girls, This beauty came with a decadent purple flower (I have no idea what it's called). The drink had pineapple and cranberry juices in it. It was a bit tart and had way too much ice for my taste, but I would still definitely order this drink again!
A Chompy Chicken Sandwich and Fries
Yakima Steak Company, 221 W Yakima Ave
One Saturday evening, I took myself on a trolley ride and dinner date. For dinner, I ordered a chipotle chicken sandwich with fries and a glass of Two Mountain Winery red wine. It's not far from my house so I walked home!
A Seductive Stuffed Specialty Hot Dog and Chips
Winey Dogs, 3 N 6th Ave
I asked one of my favorite co-worker friends to come with me to try out Winey Dogs. It's been around for years but every time I tried to go, they were closed because they have limited hours. Fortunately, they were open when we got there. They were out of the specialty hot dog that I wanted, so I ordered this concoction instead. It was sooooo good. I will definitely be back some day soon.

A 'Spicy' Turkey & Bacon Sandwich Wrap
Fiddles Lunch Box, 806 W Nob Hill Blvd
My favorite place in the whole valley to get a flatbread is this place. I tried their Spicy Turkey Flatbread last year and fell in love with it. So one day for lunch, I ordered it as a sandwich wrap. It was so good that I barely had leftovers (I'm a Leftover Queen). I'm dreaming about this sandwich right now!
So let's see your lovely pics of food you've taken from local restaurants around the Valley! You can post it on our Facebook page in the comments!
