The Offspring's Supercharged Worldwide in '25 tour made its stop in Auburn, Washington, on Wednesday, September 3rd, and I was fortunate enough to make it.

This was my 2nd time seeing The Offspring live in concert (the first time was an acoustic show in Spokane in 2019; read that concert report here), and it'll be a night that I don't soon forget. It was a blast! Check out my Concert Report and photos from the show below.

Welcome To White River Amphitheatre in Auburn

This was the first time in a very long time visiting the White River Amphitheatre. Parking is still a pain, venue is still a pleasure.

I only mention the parking situation because, due to it, I missed the opening band New Found Glory. I got to hear their last few songs from my car, and they sounded loud and good. When I finally got to my patch of real estate for the night (lawn seating) I talked to my neighbor about them. He said how they 'kicked ass', and was full of energy.

I did hear the announcement and well wishes from the band and cheers from the crowd towards the band's guitarist, Chad Gilbert, who wasn't with them due to battling cancer.

Jimmy Eat World At White River Amphitheatre

Jimmy Eat World took the stage, kicked off their set list with Pain and Just Tonight..., sounding great, and musically tight as I've heard a band live.

They were really good, although the crowd's energy wasn't really there until the last 3 songs of the band's 45+ minute set. Once Jimmy Eat World kicked into A Praise Chorus, followed by Sweetness and wrapping up their set with The Middle, the crowd was up and dancing.

Welcome To Intermission

Once Jimmy Eat World wrapped up their set, a video popped up on the stage with a warning, letting people know what they were in for: a fun night. The Offspring's Welcome to Intermission instrumental(ish) track came over the sound system with a 20-minute countdown, and then kicked into the coolest and one of the most creative, crowd-engaging band changeovers I've ever seen.

They introduced the Offspring Blimp flying at a rough altitude of 17 feet, complete with cameras getting photos of the crowd, encouraging concert goers to wave, dance, flip off the camera, which was being shown randomly on the big screens.

Video montages played on the screen to help occupy the time, including a sing-along to A-Ha's Take On Me, with video of Dexter flying his airplane. Followed by a new twist on the "audience cam".

You've heard of concert "Kiss Cams", well, the Offspring took that to the next level, getting the 'Look-A-Like' cam, complete with photos of people who looked like various celebrities and historical figures like Jack Black, Stephen Tyler, and Jesus.

A 'Headbanger' cam, a 'Fuck You' cam, a 'Booty' cam (complete with Sir Mix-A-Lot's Baby's Got Back song playing), and yes, a 'Kiss' cam, complete with a cutaway to the infamous CEO cheating Coldplay concert incident.

The Offspring Rocks Auburn!

As I mentioned above, this is only the 2nd time I've seen The Offspring live, and they are one of my top favorite bands, so this was a real treat and experience for me.

After a video introducing The Offspring, the lights went off, and you heard the familiar drum beat before the lights came on, and Come Out And Play (Keep 'Em Separated) kicked off their set.

The band tore through several of their hits, including All I Want, Want You Bad, and Looking Out For #1, before chatting it up with fans and thanking us for coming out to the show.

Between Original Prankster and Hammerhead, there was a video montage that led to two giant skeleton torsos appearing on each side of the stage, adding to an already impressive stage show.

Speaking of the stage show, this was one of the coolest uses of video screens I have ever seen at a concert. Several cameras interacting with filters and pre-made videos constantly kept the pace and action going non-stop on the 3 screens behind the band. Words cannot do it justice. Add to that the light show and the occasional fireworks and confetti cannons, it was jaw-dropping.

The song that blew me away was their performance of The Meaning Of Life, one that, from the best I can tell, the band hadn't performed live in almost a decade.

A heartfelt dedication to Ozzy included snippets of Electric Funeral, Paranoid, and Crazy Train. Which side note, I'd love to hear a full cover of Paranoid by the Offspring, Dexter's voice fits that song so well.

Speaking of Dexter's voice, that might be the only rough part of the night. I'm not sure if his voice wasn't fully rested (doing a world tour can test the vocal chords) or if he was having technical problems hearing himself (I noticed him messing with his ear throughout the night, maybe adjusting the wireless monitor), but he was off, especially hitting the high notes, which I know from me singing along in my car (don't judge) can be a strain.

That being said, it did not take away from an epic night of great music, high energy, and fun! Especially with the band performing Bad Habit and their interaction getting the crowd all cussing in unison (note: Bad Habit did play before their Ozzy tribute).

They gave me a big laugh when Dexter and Noodles talked back and forth about White River breaking an all-time world record, with over one million people in attendance, until sadly, 2 people walked out, but then 3 women, just at that moment, gave birth, so we broke a NEW WORLD RECORD!

Besides the Ozzy covers, they also did their takes on the Edvard Grieg classic In the Hall of the Mountain King with Noodles shredding on guitar, and their Ramones' cover, I Wanna Be Sedated.

After an epic drum solo by Brandon Pertzborn, Dexter appeared behind a beautiful white grand piano, sharing a story and inspiration behind the song Gone Away, getting the crowd to hold up phone lights. It was pretty special.

You can't end the night on a somber and serene note, and the band kicked in to high gear with back-to-back-to-back Americana hits Why Don't You Get A Job?, Pretty Fly (for a White Guy), and The Kids Aren't Alright, before taking a short break.

The Offspring's Encore!

Coming back out on stage, they launched into their 3-in-1 song You're Gonna Go Far, Kid and wrapped up the night with Self Esteem, and the crowd knew every single word!

Thank you, The Offspring, Jimmy Eat World, New Found Glory, White River Amphitheatre, and LIVE NATION. This was a night I'll never forget. Take a look at all my photos below!
