Faygo Firework! The Summer Drink For Yakima?

I’m not going to lie, I’m a fan of the music from the Insane Clown Posse. It makes me laugh, and the fact that they’re still putting out new music is a testament to them. One thing I’ve never been able to try is the Faygo soda that the band so lovingly pimps in their music and shows.

There are a few spots in Yakima that I know you can purchase it, but fate just so happened to put a four-pack of Firework Faygo in front of me. So I bought it, and I was Down To Clown! Check out my review below.

It’s Been A While Since Timmy Tried

It’s been a while since I last wrote a Timmy Tries article, but seeing this and knowing that Independence Day will soon be here, why not? Let’s try a red, white, and blue soda!

Yakima Man’s Taste Test of Firework Faygo

The soda, I assume, is supposed to capture the flavor of those red, white, and blue popsicles called Bomb Pop or more commonly known as rocket Pops or Firecrackers. Those were invented in 1955, and are a mix of cherry, lime, and blue raspberry.

Cracking open the can, hearing the bubble sound, the smell hit me. It smelled great and fruity. Then the taste. Yeah! It’s been a while since I had a Firecracker Popsicle, but this captures that feeling.

I was a little surprised that the drink was clear. I was expecting it to be red or a darker color, but nope, it is clear.

My last feeling on this soda, don’t drink it warm or room temp. Much, MUCH better when it’s cold.

2nd Opinion Firework Faygo Taste Test

My coworker at the radio station, Jack Balzer, braved the Detroit, Michigan-created soda, enjoyed it, and got much more of a cherry taste.
