It had been over a year since I had received a cut, color, and style from Studio 16 Salon and Spa, then the pandemic hit. My bangs grew out, the color faded and I stopped paying attention to any of it, so getting to pamper myself last week was the treat I didn't even know I needed. Something I am recommending for everyone out there.

I can vouch for the fact if you feel any sort of way about Covid-19 protocol Andi and her team have got that on lock.

When you set-up your appointment your first step will be meeting with a stylist for a virtual consultation. This gives you and the stylist time to chat about where your hair is right now and where you'd like it to be.

This virtual consultation allows the stylist to prep out everything they will need to be the most efficient and effective during your appointment.

When you arrive, there is a sign on the door instructing you to text to let the studio know you have arrived. Your stylist will pop their head out when they are ready for you. Grab your mask, your keys, phone, and wallet, everything else should be left at home. You'll receive a temperature check, be asked a few questions about how you are feeling, sign a waiver and your items will be placed in a baggie, while your jacket can be hung-up and is professionally covered.

I wasn't sure how it would be wearing a mask while getting my hair styled and colored but honestly, it didn't affect anything. If you have a mask you love, they can trade you for a disposable one so any color doesn't get on it. Super flexible, super professional, and super fantastic because I LOVE my new style and color.

While I was there I found out about the new membership program for customers, the coolest portion is if you want to give something to a friend or can't make an appointment you totally can. It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Andi suggested I try using a hydrating shampoo and conditioner with this awesome unisex Be Curly styling gel and my hair is turning back into the soft curly beautiful mess I remember from years past.
