Local Yakima Man Gets His Single Played During Seattle’s Pre-Game
Well, it's not every day you can say your original song has been requested to be played during the pre-game for Monday Night Football but that's exactly what happened to local Quincy Qswyft Abu of Yakima!
When your song gets played on Monday Night Football TV during pre-game Seahawks vs Washington Football team tonight! They loved the record and messaged me wanting to use for motivation!
His stage name is Q'Swyft and he is a motivator for sure. Besides working a full-time job and taking care of his family he is constantly creating music and sharing it with the masses.
He said he didn't want to even tell anyone what might happen, in case the song didn't get played, and then he got a phone call from the DJ telling him to turn on ESPN. Can you even imagine?
The local High Schools and beyond book him for dances and I'm not gonna lie, some of the photos I've seen look straight-up like major concerts with everyone's hands up singing along. He knows how to get the party started and apparently we're not the only ones that have been aware of it.
His Latest Song
"Champion" was created and played for his cousin who is an MMA Champion in the UFC, Kamaru Usman, for when he walks out into the ring. He took that match and though Seattle fell flat yesterday evening the memory of this moment will live on forever.
Just Keep Pushing
This isn't the only major moment for Q'Swyft, he's worked with artists like Kirko Bangz and more. If you haven't followed him on social media or youtube it's worth it because he's bringing his Nigerian roots along for the ride and the mixes are really catchy. He is kind, determined, and going places so take note because there's so much more to come!
