The annual Naches Sportsman's Days wrapped up a weekend full of fair fun, games, music (courtesy of Jayleigh Ann & The Lost Boys, Test Tube Poets, & The Girl in Black -  Abby Brown) and comedy! For the second year in a row, Manic Thunder Improv took the main stage as the final act of the two-day festival. After performing their final regular show back in July, the group proved that the time off has not hurt their quick wit and comedic style!

They took the stage after the annual lip sync competition with a mash-up lip sync of their own. They introduced themselves with the theme from the '80s TV show "The A-Team" kicking into a musical montage of "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", "The X-Files", "My Heart Will Go On (Love Theme From Titanic)" and ending with the theme from "The Golden Girls" to the laughter and applause of the audience.

The two-hour show poked fun with theater scenes on a variety of topics. Scenes such as going bald, ordering coffee, differences between chicken nuggets and dino nuggets, proper skin care when dealing with body paint for football season and how to handle getting pulled over by a state trooper, among others. They even prepared for Seahawk Sunday with a rousing game of "Party Quirks" with the performers doing their impressions of Paul Bunyan, Mr. Peanut & Manic member Scott McLaughlin nailing his role as Thanos from the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Kicking off their second half of their show with another lip sync showing Manic member Tim Hubert start off with Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody", only to "Rick-Roll" all of Naches going into "Never Gonna Give You Up" only to "Rick-Roll" Rick Astley with "Baby Shark". Once the kiddie song came on, the rest of Manic Thunder joined him on stage leading the crowd in the dance, much to their delight, especially the little ones.

One of the many highlights was the audience interaction. Audience participants were tapped to come up on stage and perform in such games as "Poseable Figures" where the audience member manipulate Manic Thunder like mannequins while they provides the content & dialogue of the scene. Games like "Pillars" & "Be Prompt" had audience members yell out suggestions & words in the middle of the scene to change the direction and/or add to the on stage story. One of the funniest came from young Olivia (pictured above) with her amazing timing and reading skills during the game of "Stay On Message". She and Manic member Justin Mateo went to the doctor (Rob Messer). While Justin tried to tell the doctor what was going on, Olivia was only allowed to say the lines that the audience gave her. Hilarity ensured with a medically serious scene having the little lady saying the lines "It's the end of the world," "Squirtle," "You're my only hope!" and "I Pooped My Pants!" All the audience participants received a random prize and memories for years to come.

The group took their bow, and thanked the Naches Lions Club as well as the whole town for inviting them back, and coming to laugh with them. They left the stage just as the lightning storm started in the small city, proving that Manic Thunder brought the lightning!
