We are always looking for recommendations for the best local foods to eat in the Yakima Valley. Whether it's someone asking for the best fish and chips or the best burgers, you can be sure there are some hidden gem restaurants you need to try.

I have three of the best burgers in the Valley for you to try plus one sandwich was so tasty, it made me want to re-enact that famous Meg Ryan scene in that movie with Billy Crystal. You might be yelling out, "I'll have what she's having!"

Best Burgers Yakima

Bruchi's
5511 Summitview Ave

Bruchi's Cheesesteaks & Subs has a yard sign advertising their smash burger for $3.99. I drive past it all the time. One day, I decided to swing by their drive-thru and give this burger a whirl. It was so good, it was a game changer for me. I've been craving them ever since. I give it 5 stars out of 5.

I got invited to a girls brunch at Second Street Grill, and I ordered the Jalapeño Popper Burger with a salad. OMG, I took one bite, and the burger was so good, I ate the salad at the restaurant and took the burger to go so that I could eat in the privacy of my home. I give it 4 stars out of 5.

Legends Casino Hotel + Spa Food Court

The Pahto Burger at the food court inside Legends Casino Hotel is highly underrated. Look for the "Fortunes" food kiosk. I ordered mine well done with American cheese. You can order it with pepper jack if you're feeling spicy. I give that burger 10 stars out of 5.

There is a sandwich served off the menu at White House Cafe: the pesto chicken artichoke sandwich on the tastiest buttery toast I've ever had. The only reason I know about this off-the-shelf menu sandwich is because it was the "Special of the Day." Get it with the soup of the day.

If trying something new is up your alley, you need to try these four meals in the Yakima Valley.
