Nicki Minaj's fanbase is being accused of severe harassment on Twitter after one user has been swarmed with death threats and bullying.

Last Saturday (June 30), a writer named Wanna Thompson (@Wannasworld on Twitter) shared a screenshot of direct messages allegedly sent by the rapper after Thompson criticized Minaj's music.

"Why is it that it’s always the dark b---hes that are so jealous and full of bitterness. I think the only solution for you is to kill yourself. You are too toxic for the world and for your baby," read the e-mail, which Thompson took a screenshot of and shared on Twitter.

Another vile e-mail sent by an anonymous user attacked Thompson's daughter and read, "You deserve everything coming to you."

Speaking to Mic, Thompson shared that she was "exhausted" by the harassment. A hashtag, #IStandWithWanna, has been trending in support of Thompson.

Thompson's original tweet, posted June 29, was in reference to Minaj's music content.

"You know how dope it would be if Nicki put out mature content? No silly s---. Just reflecting on past relationships, being a boss, hardships, etc. She's touching 40 soon, a new direction is needed," Thompson wrote.

Minaj's fourth studio album, Queen, is due out August 10.
