Noah’s Ark Hoping For Cold Weather Gear

Officials with Wapato's Noah's Ark homeless shelter say they have a crisis on their hands and they need help. Because the shelter remains closed many people are camping around Wapato and they need things to stay warm. A news release says you can help by donating blankets, jackets, warm socks and other cold weather clothing.
Because Noah's Ark doors must remain closed, donations can be accepted at Noah's Ark Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Donors can phone 509.907.4209 or 509.907.1385 in advance so staff is prepared to receive the donation; Noah's Ark address in Wapato is 117 East Second Street. Your donation will be driven to encampments as quickly as possible.
