Your participation will help the organization raise needed funds

Mark Peterson the President of Crimestoppers says it's one of the most important fundraisers of the year where you get to help the organization put wanted criminals behind bars. Pre-registration is now closed but officials say "you may register on the day of the ride at the north or south end of the ride.  Please remember to bring cash or a check to pay because of limited WiFi access in the canyon."

It's a fun day and organizers say the ride is perfect for families

The ride is set for 9:00 am to 3:00 pm on May 22nd. The Crimestoppers web site, crimestoppersyakco.org says the "35-mile round trip ride through the scenic Yakima River Canyon.  The road follows the Yakima River up a gentle grade with few hills. The highway will be closed to thru traffic during the ride making it a perfect ride for the entire family.
All the money raised during the ride goes to help pay rewards to people who call Crimestoppers Yakima County with useful information that lead to arrests.
