I've never even heard of Flappy Bird until this past Saturday when I saw someone playing it on their smartphone. As soon as I saw it (which, to me, looked kind of fun) I've seen it pop up on websites and social media non-stop. With all the hype behind it, I had to check it out.

It was easy to find, it was free and it was a quick download.

Now to fire it up.

Well, it only asked me to 'tap' once. It didn't say it was going to dive-bomb right afterwards. Okay, let's try it again.

Well, that's better, but still not as good. After a few more tries I got to a score of five, then turned it off for now. I can see how it can be addicting. It's the perfect 'waiting in line' or 'I'm just sitting here bored, may as well play this for a second' type of game which makes casual mobile games so great. I'll play it again eventually.

If you don't have a smartphone but want to give it a shot, here you go!
