Summer Day Camp Registration Now Open: Hurry, Sells Out Fast!

Does the thought of your kids running around the house (or at your job) all day long during Summer Break leave you wanting to pull out your hair?

Yakima Parks and Rec wants to save the day (and your hair)!

Registration is now open for Summer Day Camp, a place where you can drop off the kids every weekday at 9am and pick the little jokers up at 4pm. The camp is held at Kissel Park (3000 W Mead Ave), and includes fun kids activities like swimming and even includes lunch!

YPR says the fun curriculum will help your child learn important team-building and social skills.

You must register the child in person, and spots are limited, so as of this morning at 6:38am, there are at least 50 people in line ahead of me. Some parents got here as early as 5:30 in the morning! Score!

Yakima Parks and Rec is located at 2301 Fruitvale Boulevard in Yakima. Cost is $60 per child and only one family per registration is allowed.
