Misty Copeland is a Black History Month legend. It took the American Ballet Theatre 75 whole a$$ years to finally appoint a Black principal ballerina. They got some real nerve. Better late than never, I guess.
When we did our book reading at the Yakima Valley Library this week, they also had arts and crafts available. Don't let anyone fool you -- arts and crafts are for grown-ups, too.
Now that school is here in sight, make sure you turn in your library books or the Book Reaper will find you! Which reminds me that I have some overdue public library books at the one downtown!! YIKES!
