In these chilly temperatures here in the Yakima Valley, some people are walking in uncomfortable shoes. Whatever the situation might be, the Good Feet Store in Yakima wants to help those who need a decent pair of shoes.

For some people, body heat escapes through fingers, toes and ears. Covering those extremities in the cold winter months helps keep the body warmer.

So, throughout the month of December, the folks from the Good Feet Store are collecting socks and new or gently used shoes. This is benefiting the Salvation Army. Sean from the Good Feet Store was in the studio to let us know how everyone can help.

You can drop off your donations at the store, 2401 S. First St., Ste 104, by in the Valley Mall next to T-Mobile.
