In our Halloween adventures last night, we came across this awesome house that was lit up in a dark blue that had a smoke element to it, singing pumpkins (via hologram overlay) and, best of all, an electric chair.

Now, before you freak out, it wasn't a real electric chair but it sure looked like one. The idea is you sat in it, then it vibrated and made a loud crackling noise so it sounded like you were being zapped. My kids loved it.

They also loved the smoke element. It would blast out in intervals so they could stand in it. I don't know of any long-term effects but I didn't let them stand in it for too long.

The rest of the house was wonderfully decorated and you could spot the house all the way down the block. It was neat. I'm sure they put a lot of time, effort and money into this place but it's another my kids are already talking about visiting again.

If you want to see it for yourself next Halloween, it's off of 92nd and Chestnut.
