The Hanford Feeding Families Fundraiser Was a Major Success

The Hanford Feeding Families fundraiser had a goal of $50,000 which would be donated to Second Harvest in response to unprecedented demand for basic food needs throughout the Columbia Basin and Yakima Valley due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

They worked hard to spread the word and not only met the goal of $50,000 but what they came up with was much more and still rising

The total as of 6/2/2020 is $51,960.

Funds raised are helping meet the increased need for food assistance brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. They also help offset increased costs to source and distribute food to our partner food banks and through mobile market distributions due to disruptions in the food supply chain.
