So maybe you've hit up all the best places for Pokemon Go hunting. Where do you go from there? If you plan on checking out the Seattle area, I found the two absolute best places for Pokemon Go -- and they're not even in the city of Seattle.

The two best places I've ever been to are the Marina in Des Moines and Bellevue Square Park in Bellevue.

Now, to be fair, I did do some Pokemon hunting in Seattle and the waterfront was nice as there were plenty of Pokestops and lots of water-type Pokemon, but it was also blanketed by tourists and took me half an hour just to find parking.

The first place we went was the Des Moines Marina. This place was riddled with water Pokemon from the moment we arrived. Ever step we took another creature would pop up from Dratinis to Pollywags and more. We even caught a Lapris nearby. There is also plenty of Pokestops so if you walk along the perimeter you can grab more Pokeballs along the way. They also had a couple of gyms. One gym was at the very end of a long, long dock.

The other place, and easily the funnest, was Bellevue Square Park just behind the Bellevue Square Mall. This big, open park already had a ton of people playing Pokemon and they were all helping each other out. As soon as we arrived someone yelled out, "Aerodactyl!" and everyone came running to catch the uncommon Pokemon. Then someone yelled something else in another part of the park and they all came running. It was cool to see.

So, if you're planning on driving to Seattle to catch Pokemon, you don't even need to drive all the way to Seattle or worry about driving that downtown Seattle traffic. Bellevue Square Park (labeled as Downtown Park on Google Maps) is the best place but if you're in need of water Pokemon, I'd recommend traveling south to the Des Moines Marina. It's worth the travel.
