When it starts to get cold you start thinking of all the warm destination you could travel to. Southern California, Las Vegas and Hawaii all sound like a nice time, but there are several big cities where during the colder months it's a nice getaway, too. Cheaper flights and not as populated are always welcome. I'm happy to see two of the cities on this top 10 list were both in the Northwest.

Portland, Oregon is second place while Seattle is sixth. The first place spot belongs to Chicago.

When it comes to most attractions, Seattle came in third place with Portland coming in fifth. Seattle and Portland also came in third and forth for most cold-weather activities.
