Volunteers Needed to Help Whitney Elementary Build New Playground

Have some fun and help out with a great cause that will make our children and our children's children happy for years to come. Whiteney Elementary is building a new playground and could use your help.

The Whitney Elementary School Boosters have done several fundraisers to help finance this project. Some of the parents have noted that some of the playground equipment is a bit outdated. My father used to teach at Whitney before he retired 15 years ago. Some of the equipment was there when he was there.

They're looking for anyone and everyone to help build the new playground and help set it up. Someone will be on hand to watch your kids play while you work. Building day is April 25 but if you sign up to volunteer before April 10 you'll get a free t-shirt.
