The sun shining a little brighter, the birds singing, bees buzzing -- definitely sounds like spring to me. For me, though, the true feeling of spring in Yakima is the annual rummage sale at West Valley Church on the corner of 72nd and Nob Hill. Since they couldn't do it last year, 2 years worth of items have accumulated filling up 3 rooms full of treasures. I even know someone on the inside who was able to take some photos as a teaser to get you ready for shopping.

This takes place at West Valley Church on 72nd and Nob Hill on Saturday, April 24th. Just the one day. Doors open at 7 a.m. and goes until 3 p.m. Free to attend, free parking, everyone is welcome.

Though the church has plenty of free parking, there's also a soccer game happening at the same time so keep that in mind.
